Welcome to Stylez by Lita, where every appointment is a chance to love your locs, feel renewed, and receive intentional care. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service:

1. Booking & Deposits
To reserve your appointment, a deposit is required.
• Deposits are applied to the final service total
• Appointments without deposits may be canceled
• Deposits are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in our Refund Policy

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiting your deposit
• Repeat no-shows may not be rebooked in the future

3. Service Expectations
Stylez by Lita offers natural hair care services, including:
• Loc retwists
• Starter locs
• Two-strand twists
• Basic shampoo + conditioning
• Styling with extensions (if agreed upon or provided)
Please consult with us in advance for clarity on what’s included.

4. Licensing Disclosure & Service Disclaimer
Stylez by Lita is operated by a non-licensed hairstylist in the state of Maryland, where it is legal to offer select hairstyling services without a professional license.
By booking with Stylez by Lita, clients acknowledge and agree that:
• The stylist does not perform chemical or medical scalp treatments
• All services are within the scope allowed for unlicensed practitioners
• Clients requesting services typically performed by licensed professionals — especially in-home or “at-home” inspired services using retail-grade (non-professional) products — do so at their own discretion
• Clients release Stylez by Lita from liability for such choices
If in doubt, please consult with a licensed cosmetologist before booking.

5. Pricing & Payments
• Prices may vary depending on added products, time, or changes to the original request
• Payment is due at the time of service
• Accepted forms: Cash, Zelle, Cash App, or other agreed methods

6. Refunds & Final Sales
• All services are final sale once rendered
• Refunds are only considered for properly canceled appointments (see our [Return & Refund Policy])
• All refund decisions are at the stylist’s discretion

We reserve the right to refuse service in cases of:
• Disrespect, harassment, or inappropriate behavior
• Poor hygiene or illness
• Refusal to follow salon policies

We collect only what’s needed to provide your service.
• Your contact info is never sold or shared
• Photos or names will only be shared with permission or as stated in our media policy

Photos or short videos may be taken for promotional use.
